Chief Clinical Scientist
Rita is our Chief Clinical Scientist and holds an MSc in Physiology. She trained in the Mater Hospital Dublin as a Cardiac Technician and undertook studies in medical physics in Kevin Street Dublin. She trained in Respiratory Science in James’ Hospital and is now pursuing a Masters in Allergy from the Southampton University. She joined AllergyCounts in 2003 and is our most experienced member of staff. She regular attends international workshops and meetings on all aspects of allergy. She specialises in food allergy, children’s allergies and immunotherapy. Rita features regularly on TV and radio where she raises the awareness of allergy and discusses clinical issues. She lectures to the general public, members of the health profession and clinical scientists on allergy topics.
